The Elks National Foundation (ENF) was founded in 1928 with a vision to unite the Order of Elks in service to humanity. With an initial grant of $100,000, the organization was established to help Elks build stronger communities. The ENF's work is focused on several key areas, including investing in communities, helping youth develop skills, sending students to college, and supporting the needs of veterans. The foundation funds projects that improve the quality of life in local Elks communities, living up to its mission.

The ENF's work is made possible by the generosity of its donors. With over 124,000 active donors and an endowment fund valued at $851.7 million, the foundation has contributed over $500 million to charitable projects since its inception. Contributions to the ENF have totaled more than $319.4 million, demonstrating the significant impact of giving.

Donating to the ENF allows an individual to be part of a powerful force for positive change. Contributions help fund essential programs like the Community Investments Program, which provides grants to Elks Lodges. These grants enable lodges to serve their local communities, raise their profile, and energize their membership, expanding on the original vision of the foundation's founders.
