The Marina at Groton Lodge of Elks

Nestled at the headwaters of Baker Cove in Groton, Connecticut, our marina offers a unique boating experience in a predominantly saltwater environment. Baker Cove connects to Fishers Island and Long Island Sound via marked and unmarked channels, providing access to stunning coastal waters.

Designed for small craft, the marina features two docks with 72 slips, accommodating boats ranging from 10 to 25 feet. It is believed to be one of only two facilities of its kind in Elk-dom.

Boaters should be mindful of tides, as they can be challenging—consulting local tide tables is recommended when entering or departing. The docks are equipped with fresh wash-down water and 120V 20A electrical service for our members' convenience.

Additional amenities include portable toilets near the docks, 24-hour lighting, and video monitoring for security. Best of all, the marina is operated entirely by dedicated volunteer members of Elks Lodge #2163.Due to a lengthy waiting list, the Marina is currently available only to Groton Elks Members.
